to Local Government Business Excellence Network

The Local Government Business Excellence Network was formed in 2000 by a group of Victorian Councils undertaking Business Excellence journeys. The Network has since expanded to include Councils from New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania .

The original aim of the Network was to learn from each other and others outside the Network about implementing Excellence in Local Government.

Members are guided by the network values:

~ Excellence
~ Collaboration
~ Openness

Becoming a member Council will enable opportunity to network with other network practitioners & Business Excellence Partners within the Local Government sector. Networking opportunities exist through quarterly meetings, secure internet forums and an internet based database of tools, templates and reference material provided by Network members.
